					<description>On my Macintosh, I found that Apple's big monitor was extremely expensive. It was a lot cheaper to buy the regular Apple monitor, and then buy a second, conventional monitor.  I just plugged it in and it worked.  I think newer Macs may let you use conventional monitors as your primary monitor.

My new PC came with a 30" monitor, so I'm all set there.  I use it so that I can have two full-sized windows visible at all times.  It really helps my productivity; of course, it depends on your work patterns.</description>
