European DVDs

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007

American television is technically called “NTSC,” which stands for New Technology is SCary. European TV (and most of the rest of the world) uses a standard called “PAL.” A dear client of mine asked if I could convert an Australian DVD he had into something he could play on his home player.

It turns out I can. And I can do the same for you. It takes a whole lot of computing power and hard drive storage, but it works.

PAL in, NTSC out. If this is something you need, let me know.
