Frozen Laptops
Wednesday, February 21st, 2007I have heard it said that you shouldn’t let your laptop get too cold. This means don’t leave it in your car on cold winter nights. The fact is that if you do, your laptop is not likely to be damaged, but you’ll have to let it warm back up to room temperature before it’ll work again.
Then again, not likely is a pretty poor chance to take with all your data and your $1000 piece of hardware, isn’t it? Don’t forget to lug the thing in at night.
